Seems like most breeders have a litter every time you turn around, kind of like a puppy mill, which is a far cry from what I was looking for. Having had a lab for 13 years, I knew that when the time came for us to get another dog, It had to be another lab. I might add that we have a 3 year old cocker spaniel, Murphy. I think Murphy was tired of being the "only child" and wanted someone to pal around with, which is when I started looking for another lab. I had 3 "must haves" on our new dog. We wanted a female, we did not want a new puppy, and most importantly she must be good with children as we have 3 young grandsons. After almost giving up on my search, I found your site. You had exactly what we were looking for. An eight month old female lab. To make a long story short, Our new family member "Babe" is awesome. We could not of asked for a more loving, obedient, gentle, well behaved, healthy, and did I say LOVING pup? When the grand kids come over and sit on the floor playing with their Lego's, Babe is laying right next to them. At night, Babe and Murphy lay side by side on the floor next to me. I could go on and on about how happy we are with Babe but I think you get the message. It was my lucky day when I found your website!!
